In the late fall of 2023, the GMC dealership that sold me my car recommended an in-depth service package that would change various fluids and change the air and oil filters... for approximately $2500. I'm not a 'car guy', but I know enough that a fluid-oriented maintenance package for $2500 was ludicrous... especially considering that I paid $29000 for the car brand new! I showed it to a Midas service tech, he confirmed my belief, and with the exception of a few items, I only paid $1200... which included a new car battery AND the $100 tip I left for the tech who did the actual work.
the customer service was beyond expectations, the knowledge of my vehicle and issue was familiar with the staff.
The staff at the desk was very friendly and professional. They apologized for taking longer to check me in due to computer speed and gave my car to me when promised.

I had called around to several places asking for quotes. When I called this location, I spoke to an associate named Joe who was by far the most helpful and friendliest person I had spoken to all day. I've been going through an incredibly difficult time and was only trying to get my car serviced now that I was finally able to afford it. I told Joe what I for sure needed and what I might possibly need, and he listened attentively and provided me with options and told me about some coupons that were a big help to me. I would have chosen this location based on my interaction with Joe alone, but the competitive pricing was icing on the cake. The music the technicians were listening to in the shop was also really good so it made my wait time fly by. 1000000/10 I will be coming back here for all my services in the future. A huge thank you to Joe for treating me like a human and not just another service or an inconvenience. I really really needed that.

Bob was extremely helpful, I was nervous about a sound I heard while driving my car and he took the time to show me under my car to tell me where the sound would be coming from and went into extreme detail about everything. I came in to check what liquid was leaking and causing a burning smell. Within 10 minutes Midas was able to identify two leaks; power steering and Oil from two different places. The technicians were able to show me (walk me to look myself) and give me a price quote to fix that DID NOT a change at checkout. They even gave a discount for taking overnight. The work was done quick, efficiently and I will definitely return!!!! I even got a ride home on the house.

After being told I needed brakes, rotors and calipers all the way around and then being quoted 3 different prices (2900$) I decided to have another mechanic look at it. The associate thoroughly explained the problem and identify what the other mechanic didn't do but they said that they did the service. I'm not highly satisfied because when I went to the Midas at San Bruno CA, they always did a 100 (something along that line) point inspection, topped off fluids, and automatically printed some dealer report for my vehicle (I think it was based on the VIN). When I asked about it, the guy looked at me weird and told me that here in Vacaville they only do a tire rotation (optional) and check and top off your fluids. They did check and ask to replace our air filters with a phone call. Otherwise, I was given the impression they don't do multi-point inspections with each oil change. The staff is nice and it seems they do a good job with my oil changes but I actually want to look at my filters to make sure they changed them like they said they did.
Bob, despite having "booked up Saturday", facilitated my auto issue and while I waited it was even fixed the same day. Dan, the mechanic who worked on my car, was very knowledgeable. Communication- explanation was highly satisfactory to me. Only recommendation/request I have is to apply diagnostic fee credited when repair work is done rather than in addition. Overall, happy with timely service and professionalism.

The gentlemen at the Vacaville location were very kind and professional. I asked to have an oil change, tires rotated, and axle u joints inspected. After showing up for my appointment, thirty minutes later the vehicle was on the rack which was nice. An hour and a half later, the tech came in complaining about my overtightened oil filter. That was my fault and I'm assuming they were trying to get it off for an hour and a half instead of having just started at that time and realizing that. After spending three hours total at the shop I was told my vehicle was done. Tires were not rotated and nothing was said of U joints. that being said, the truck had to go on the drive on lift and not the kind with pads because they said it was too big. There was one guy in particular that was extremely pleasant and personable and professional who ordered the oil for me that wasn't in stock. He deserves some praise for his professionalism and kindness. Overall, I just with all of what I had asked to be done had been done. I will be going elsewhere for any work.
